The Outdoor Classroom is a large part of what Boyce Mayview Park offers the community.  A 501c3 organization, the facility depends on the generosity of donors in order to provide high quality educational opportunities for all ages.

Donations to The Outdoor Classroom are used for scholarship programs to help defray costs for children to attend programs, the development of new programming, and for operating expenses. 

• A donation of $300 will enable an entire class of students to engage in our hands-on programs here in the Boyce Mayview Park for an entire day including busing.
• A donation of $100 will take one of our interactive presentations to a Preschool, Library or Adult Living Center.
• A donation of $50 can bring a group of scouts to the Classroom for a nocturnal experience and s'more by our campfire.

Groupon Grassroots

Our GROUPON Grassroots campaign was a success!  Thank you to everyone across the country that donated.  We were able to raise $1,380 through donations in addtion to the $1,000 that GROUPON donated!  That is enough to bring out two full grade levels of low income students to the Classroom.

Corporate Donors

The Education Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) recognizes The Outdoor Classroom as an approved Education Improvement Organization.  Businesses can make a donation to support the educational programming of the Classroom while earning a tax credit for the fiscal year (restrictions apply).  In addition to the EITC incentives and the satisfaction in supporting a community resource, corporate donors receive additional benefits from us.  Contact our office to learn more via phone 412.838.0064 or via e-mail.
